Cotto would be a good tune up and a good payday for Sergio. Sergio is nearly to 40 so he needs those big payday fights. Cotto, Canelo, Floyd and 3G, all are good money fights for Sergio. Now it depends a lot on how good Sergio looks in his first fight after this big period of layoff.

I dont know....Cotto has a good chance of taking the W on this fight vs Sergio.

Also, what Miguel wants is the 4th Tittle/4th Division and you know what will bring?????

Cotto vs FMJr. @ "160lb" since Floyd will go for that any day of the week.

You heard it first right here by Da Boxer!

Too bad Martinez will wipe the floor with Cotto, other than that great prediction:thumbsup

Sergio looked like crap in Argentina for his last fight, Should MC shine in his showcase fight on Saturday then I might favor Cotto over Martinez in 2014.

Either Alvarez or Cotto would Prob beat Maravilla at this point.
Don't think Cotto/Martinez makes much PPV tho?? (2014)

Alvarez Vs. both tho is like printing money....

Both matchups are very intriguing, as long as Sergio's healthy...... dude's been getting injured alot lately and of course you want to see him on his A-game. That's the big unknown. Is he gonna be injury free or is he gonna break a hand or blow a knee out again?

Top Rank and HBO wouldn't lose out on money if Cotto chooses Sergio over Canelo because neither would have anything to do with an Alvarez fight.

Depending on how Cotto looks this weekend with Roach in his corner, I could see him beating the latest version of Martinez. And if Cotto does look great, he will probably get serious with strength and condition and get Ariza to get him in shape with those special shakes for the move to 160.

yeah ummmm whatever you say. Regardless Cotto would take the as s kicking of his life should he be dumb enough to step in the ring with Sergio

Nobody can "choose" Sergio, Sergio is the champion. It's his choice whether he will accept the Cotto fight or not if he gets the offer.

The Martinez fight used to make me a bit nervous, however after watching him against Chavez Jr...I do not believe he can stand up to Cotto.

After Cotto dispaches this " Friday Night " fighter Rodriguez I hope he pencils in a date with Martinez.

Vera eaisly outboxed Chavez....making Martinez's win less impressive.

A fight I would look forward in seeing or at least a rematch with Floyd!!!

And this time I would hope Cotto is mindful of the clubbing overhand rights!!!

Before you go any further...please review Sergio's challenges to Cotto and in some respect calling him a coward!!!

Well he said last week he is not moving back down. He also said he did struggle to make weight and it took a toll on his body. --Miguel's words.

Cotto vs. Sergio will do great business during PR Parade Weekend, if it's at MSG. there hasn't been a big PR fight that weekend for a few years.
