Sergio Maravilla Martinez: Fighter of the Year 2012?

Donaire hasn't impressed in his fights though. It's nice that it's a tough choice for once, the last few years it's been pretty clear because there hasn't been many candidate's.

I'd definitely favour Martinez at the moment but if Garcia put's in a dominant performance against Morales I could be swayed.

Mack isn't a good enough opponent for me to consider Froch, if it was Kessler and he beat him then Froch would be the clear fighter of the year IMO.

This year is a tough call. If Lopez had won tonight, he'd be the frontrunner no questions asked. The same applies to Dawson last week. I'm hesitant to give it to Donaire because his two fights have largely been disappointments, and while Garcia has had a decent year, I'd want to see him fight someone other than Morales again to give him that title.

 

It'll be back up the next time he fights, no matter how disinterested, lazy, and flawed he is

 

I'd go with Salido if he can beat Mikey
