    We know that Sergio and DiBella wanted NO PART of Golovkin, but this is very disappointing to hear Sergio actually endorse ducking. Sergio was a warrior, and he has a huge ****, but Golovkin was the one guy he avoided.

    Sergio and DiBella wanted no part of Pirog either. They preferred safer opponents like the Barkers and Macklins of the division.

    That fight wouldve happened had Sergio not destroyed his knee against Jr and again vs Macklin. Guy was a shell of himself when he faced Cotto. He fell from a jab ffs!

    I love Sergio, but I couldn't disagree more with him here, although with Castano his heart is in the right place. He probably feels like Brian won't get a fair shake here in the US and get robbed like he was against Cintron and Williams, but I personally think Castano should be jumping at the chance to face Lara, he has the perfect swarming style to beat him, Castano is a level or two above Martirosyan, and fights in a similar style, only he throws more and hits harder, I think he would be catching Lara at the right time and could possibly stop him.

    When did he avoid Golovkin?
    Only time i can see is when Martinez fought Cotto. People seem to forget that Golovkin made his HBO debut a month before Martinez faced Chavez Jr.

    When Golovkin started making noise, much of the media brought up a showdown between he and Sergio. You can do a search on YouTube. Plenty of videos of Lou DiBella legit FREAKING OUT about Golovkin. Who has he fought? What kind of money does he bring? And then before Martinez struggled w/ Murray, DiBella outright admitted that it would be crazy to match Sergio up with Golovkin.
