Yeah, sure, maybe in a simpleton definition of the word. :patsch

Explain in detail WHO he should defend against? Knowing Pav is moving up, and P Will moving down from 160. I doubt you'll have an answer.

You can't expect too much. You're on a forum with a bunch of guys who believe emmanuel deserves 50% of the purse against Void.

If these guys were pro fighters they would end up retiring broke.

Martinez is 35 now; he's old. He needs a few big money fights before he's too old to fight. He didn't get much exposure when he was younger, and he has been taking all these tough fights against guys with no name. Beating an old legend like Mosley is a good way to build your name and make a buck. If I were him I would try to beat Mosley moar impressively than Void did. A great victory along with the 160 strap is a good way to lure in another big money by having Void come fight for the 160 strap.

I was asking WHOM specifically. Thought that was obvious. Sorry if I gave you the benefit of the doubt on reading comp.

Am I the only one who thinks shane can beat down martinez? Call me crazy, but you heard it hear first. (Shane eats southpaws for breakfast btw)

Cherrypicker! :patsch :patsch :patsch

(it would be at 155lbs so it would be for the ****ing title instead of fighting at 154 for nothing, how the flying **** is that cherry picking for ****sakes? Is ESB really getting that dumb?)

  6. It's pretty obvious, fan boy. I don't expect any objectivity from a guy who has Maravilla's picture as his avatar.

It's no one's fault. That's the nature of Boxing Boo. You should know that. VERY FEW boxers get to pick who they want for how much money they want.

Winky's team was terrible at mgmt. They passed on some good paydays hoping for more.

He also fought some scrubs in the process, killing major momentum.

And a great deal good that did.

Maybe Garry Lockett, Marco Rubio or Miguel Espinoza are available... yeah, those are great fights!

I guess 2 + 2 = 4 is also lacking objectivity coming from someone who has a calculator on his avatar, eh? :patsch

Just tell me smartass how's natural LMW Martinez fighting Mosley in a nontitle superfight at LMW, which is a huge fight, turns out to be cherry picking because it's for the World MW Championship just one pound north, which is officially middleweight?

He definately deserves a pass. I think Shane comes in at +250. Shane will not be able to hurt Martinez at 154.

In Mexico the odds for Chavez jr. are -400 and Duddy is +320. Barerra is -650 and DeJesus is +500.

The over for Duddy/Chavez is 9.5 rounds.

Are you really comparing mandatories against middleweights with a voluntary against a welter who is 2-2 in his last 4 fights?

Being a mandatory these days doesn't mean you deserve a fight w/ the Champ. It's about matches, not rankings.

Besides, as many have stated, he fought three top guys in his last three fights.

You can keep calling Shane a WW, but he has been a JrMW World champ remember.

Seriously, Sergio went from Cintron, to Williams, to Pavlik. WTF esle is he supposed to do?

I don't think anyone can blame him for taking a breather or a money fight.

Martinez was a 0-1-1 natural superwelterweight before he tear the skin off a cruiserweight Kelly Pavlik's face so what's your point?

Blown-up Welterweight Maravilla can fight who he wants. He took the belts by utterly destroying Adams Family reject Plodder Pavlik.
