Why would a guy who barely makes 160 think about fighting Pav at 166 and Bute at 168? That's just pathetic on your part.

    Please. Have a seat.

Is Miguel Espino not avaliable? What about Gary Lockett? I'm sure he could be tempted out of retirement.

What a shock booradley bashing on Martinez. The same Martinez that embarrass his hero Pavlik. He will never get over it.

Martinez is making a mistake if he goes after Mosley. For those complaining about this fight - how is it any different than when Pavlik fought Martinez who was coming up from a lower weight - right after losing a fight?

  6. Well, because Shane is old, out of his depth at that weight, undeserving @ that weight....but it really isn't about Shane, it's about Martinez trying to pick on a smaller, older man, who never really looked that good @ 154. It matters not that the catchweight is @ 155. What matters is that Sergio should be looking for stiffer comp. at 160, instead of asking a welterweight to move up. It's a cherry pick.

    LMFAO

The catchweight actually is better for Mosley since he's smaller.

Pavlik is the white man's version of Diego Corrales. Same styles and in all probability the same results. After the war with Castillo, Diego was through. All the guys in the super six would destroy him.

  9. One of the other champs @ 160 for starters. Or, like I said, if he and Dibella want to play the catchweight game, offer the fight to a naturally bigger guy who is currently campaigning @ 154. It's not complex, really it's not. This is a very obvious cherry pick and it's completely hypocritical considering how coveted Martinez supposedly hold the middleweight belt. It just rings false.

  10. Uh, do you not realize that Martinez can gain weight after the weigh-in? You're a ****ing bufoon...and another apologist.

  11. He is. It's because he's stooopid

Mosley can't fight at middle, he's to small. This fight being at a catchweight is the only way Mosley can be in the fight. Not to mention Sergio fought at 160 now he has to go back to cutting weight, and he's 35 to boot. And how am I an apologist?

    So you can STFU now.

This post is the correct answer.

A former welterweight fights Cintron, Williams, then Pavlik at middleweight? **** outta here with that cherrypicker stuff.

It's not like Mosley is gonna roll over either.

Agreed. He's fought tough comp. Mosley is another nice name to the resume.

    Sergio is hardly cherry picking.

It makes the most sense moneywise and it's a good fight. I don't see how that could be considered cherrypicking.
