    Martinez the Unisputed Middlewieght champ

Andre Ward The Supermiddle Weight champ

Ward is on a great run vs top opposition

Martinez on a good run vs decent opposition - but getting KO's.

Both Top 7 in Most people's rankings

So who do you guys rank higher in P4P list, and Why?

Andre Ward. . . Kessler, and Froch > Pavlik, and Williams. . .

Their "second tier" opponents like Dzinz, Macklin, and Barker. . . Bika, Green, Abraham are then pretty much on the same level. . . But the Kessler, and Froch wins are so much better than Pavlik, and Williams IMO. .

Also, not to mention Sergio SPLIT WINS with Williams (losing once). . Then he got outboxed by Pavlik for a good 4 rounds. . Outboxed by Macklin, and Barker for 4-5 rounds too. . .

So far, there's nothing CLOSE to having a blueprint for Ward.

I had Bika fight a draw it was a very even fight, Green and Abraham (small in size) went the distance - whilst SM has KOed all of the other 3

Kessler is past his best (i think so was KP) and froch is an excellent win

Green small in size? I think not. . . He had issues making 168. . He's now at 175...

Kessler wasn't past his best when Ward beat him... He might be now, though.

Pavlik, however, was almost certainly past his best - he was also FRESH outta rehab (LITERALLY - he started training camp the day he left rehab LOL). Drained himself out to make the weight. . .

ALSO, Sergio has a DRAW with Cintron (yeah, I know he really won) . . . AND a LOSS to Williams!

People just get carried away cause of the devastating KO. . . And he was getting outboxed by Pavlik for 4-5 rounds. . . THEN, he was getting outboxed by Barker, and Macklin for a good portion of the fight. . But yes, he did score the KO. .

Ward has hardly lost a round. . . And again, Kessler + Froch > Pavlik + Williams.

To be honest, Donaire belongs above both Ward, and Martinez, though. . .

He's the only guy who actually beat OTHER GUYS on the top 10 pound for pound list. .. ANd he's gone through 4 weight classes (3-weight champ).

Green isn't a small guy at all, he just wasn't exactly S6 material.
    And the fight was :barf

Williams was regarded as top 10 when Martinez beat him, and I fail to see why weight-jumping is necessarily a big boost when both Martinez and Ward have gone lineal at their current divisions, something Donaire has never done.

    Abraham - is small
Green is a normal sized SMW
Had ward losing 6 rounds atleast 5 to Bika and 3/4 vs Froch
Sergio Martinez is A 2 weight world champion
Kessler was past his best when Ward fought him, He didn't fight anyone with a pulse for 2 years and it showed. Don't forget PW was P4P ranked - Most avoided fighter - he was very underrated, now again is underrated because people looking at him now, when he is clearly past his best now after the KO loss

Think Ward still has more to do to prove he should be rated higher than Sergio.

Like beating Bute, or one of the top lhws.

Or beating Sergio at a catch weight, although I don't like cw fights.

Ward did win the tournament, but Williams gets so underrated NOW since his devastating loss to Sergio. It's a miracle Williams has recuperated and slowly getting back to his old self, but even from the Ishida fight Williams isn't 100%or the 100 handed giant who was the most feared and avoided fighter below 160. If not for brutal ko I think both Williams and Sergio were capable of producing acouple of upsets north of 160. I rate Ward and Sergio about the same to be honest I don't have a problem anyone rating one above the other h2h perhaps Ward may take it, but I wouldn't be surprised if Sergio did produce that upset even against Ward. Only ones that come close to Sergio's power might be AA and Bute, but this is coming from a natural 154lber. P4p or h2h it's too close a call.

Kessler and Froch are better than Ortiz and Mosley. And also better than Mosley and Margarito. So using that logic, Ward should be #1, not Pac or Floyd.
