Sergio Martinez calls Chavez, Jr. and Pacquiao cowards...

Sergio is over rated and constantly calls out smaller guys than himself, all the while avoiding top middleweights and light middleweights

 

Truth is truth...

 

I look forward when this 1 hit wonder, 5 mins of fame jerk goes away. As soon as he loses, he'll be on the street corner begging some more where he belongs. Calling other fighters cowards is cowardly. Anyone that steps in that ring isn't a coward whatsoever.

 

He does have a point. Thing is, Pac nor Chavez Jr are the ones being cowards, it's their promoters protecting their investment. Unfortunately it's the way boxing is right now and I doubt it'll change, not until the amount of money floating around at the top falls.

Martinez is frustrated and has a right to be. He's looked immense in all of his last fights and that plays massively against him considering he's not exactly a ppv star, and would likely wipe the floor with any of the other contenders in his weight class. At his age as well, he must be itching for the BIG fights.

How anyone can call him overrated is beyond me. All you need do is look at the guys resume to see he is p4p no.3, 4 at minimum.

 

Chavez is his size or maybe bigger...
Name me one person martinez has avoided?

 

If we call them cowards its not cool, but Sergio can say that about Chavez that dont want to fight him...

 

Sergio was stripped of the belt he earnt in the ring, so the 'We Be Crooks' could hand it to their cash cow JCC jr (even though Zbik beat him). Now, Sergio wants his belt back and JCC jr won't fight him, I think in this scenario he's entitled to call him a coward. That's Sergio's belt he's holding, and Sergio isn't being given a fair chance to win it back even.

 

Sergio just keepin it 100.

 

I have to side with Sergio on this one......

JCC Jr is definately afraid to fight him and I think his fight against Zbik was razor close. If Zbik had behaved like JCC Jr stablemate he would have attempted to get the result over turned and I believe he would have had more right to do so than Khan.

Pac man is just making himself look like a fool of late, they cannot get their story straight and its obvious he does not believe he can beat Mayweather and has no interest in fighting him.

I'd like to see Sergio get a BIG fight I think he is quite an exciting fighter and has shown given the opportunity he can pull a nice upset.

 

I think he's right about Chavez Jr. Pac, if he's willing to fight Martinez I'd be cool with it, but honestly.. He's a bit on the small side to fight martinez. Of course Floyd is a bit small to fight Martinez as well. Still though, if Martinez beat either guy I'd give full credit.

 

He's right in the sense that they both hide behind their promoter.

But Pac clearly has no obligation to consider a Martinez fight.

 

It seems that several fighters feel that pac is scared to fight floyd.

 

Sergio and floyd should fight and forget those two hiding behind arum

 

While Chavez Jr. is a straight up fraud, Pacquiao has nothing to do with this. Even if Pacquiao lets Arum call the shots, he has been getting tough fights all the way. The only fight that Arum clearly wants none of is Mayweather. As long as Arum has other options, there's no reason to risk it all and give everything to Mayweather IF he beats Pacquiao. ALL promoters would keep things in their stable if they could, that's where the real money is and no risk(for the promoter).
