I don't see why it's such a bad fight. Oscar, Ortiz, Shane, Baldomir and just about everyone Floyd has ever fought near and/or around 147 is bigger than he is. Sergio is willing to come down to 154 to make the fight. 154 will no doubt be somewhat draining (regardless of what Sergio admits or chooses to admit).

I understand Floyd can't even make 154, but when you start taking on challenges and winning championships versus consensus #1's (DLH/Cotto) at 154, then you must be prepared to accept some of the consequences.

Sergio looking downward and immediately dismissing upward is hypocrite though, sure.

Martinez camp offered 150 to Mayweather and also 80% for Mayweather, I thought it was an Almost deal with Mayweather and Martinez?

If this was 2009 or so when Floyd still had his legs and could move like a cat, there might be a small chance of this happening but right now, with his legs gone and him having to fight almost stationary, no way in hell does he fight Sergio. He would get ktfo and he knows it.

No chance of floyd fighting sergio at middleweight. No point fighting him at jmw either until martinez can show he still healthy at that weight.

    :patsch :patsch

Sergio Martinez - 5'10, 75" of reach, weighed 157 1/2 lbs against Macklin

Floyd Mayweather Jr. - 5'8. 72" of reach, weighed 151 lbs against Cotto

Let's say they'll make this @154 Martinez coming in at 154 lbs and Floyd at 151 lbs

    and compare it to..

Antonio Margarito - 5'11, 73" of reach, weighed 150 lbs lbs against Pacquioa

Manny Pacquioa - 5'6 1/2. 67" of reach, weighed only 144 1/2 lbs against Margarito

Now, does Floyd still looks like there's a huge size disadvantage? :think
