Martinez has a resume that pisses all over anything GGG has done.

Hes fought a calibre of opponent that is a league ahead of GGG.

You honestly think hes ducking. GGG is fighting Chavez in what is by far and away his biggest fight, and Martinez beat the tar out of Chavez for 11 rounds.

Its GGG that needs to step up.

i agree that Sergio's resume is tons better then GGG, but at this day and age everyone wants a piece for themselve. Its hard to schedule a match when everyone in the top 5 is avoiding a fight with you. I think he can schedule a fight with someone in the top 10 however.

Problem is, when he would actually face Golovkin now he would be levelled.

I really like Martinez, but he's ducking GGG and should shut up until he actually finds the cojones to share the ring with him.

:deal THere is no way GGG could have been favored to beat prime Sergio
And Sergio made it the hard way nothing was given to him, he was robbed few times especially vs Cintron, he has right to take money fight vs Cotto he earned it, and if he retires after I would not blame him at all.

What does that have to do with what I posted? Yes, I honestly think he's ducking Golovkin.

You said keep on ducking as is he had a track record of ducking. And yes if this fight does not happen it is a duck, but put yourself in the shoes of a 40 year old man, who's plagued by injuries, who's style requires athleticism and top shape and say you would fight golovkin over a money fight with cotto. Sergio has given people great fights his whole career, and at this point a fight with golovkin could get him seriously hurt.

    "Still Isn't On My Level"

this excuse is on page 3 on Floyd's book of ducking.

...and sergio has no basis to say that. he was having all kind of trouble against macklin, murray and barker and they would be below ggg's level.

Sergios resume shits on triple g's. He tkoed macklin koed barker and how you expect to win a fight giving away the first four rounds is beyond me.Now explain to me how gggs resume is better than sergios.

if he beats cotto but looks vulnerable in doing so...that may enter him into the mayweather sweepstakes.

we all know floyd ain't fighting ggg. martinez would be a fool to pass up on the opportunity to face floyd over ggg.

ggg is still paying dues. stop annointing these guys before their time.

    This.

If Sergio knee is gone he should not get in the ring with GGG. It would be perfectly respectable for Sergio to retire at his age, and admit that due to injury he can no longer take that fight.

Three years ago it would have been one of, if not the best fight in boxing.

If you love Martinez you would know he accomplished much more in 5 years than triple G has.Typical bandwagoner.

This sport comes down to what have you done for me lately.Yea you turned Chavez Jr into a pizza face despite him having 20 lbs on you but we don't give a **** about that.We don't care how you took care of both pavlik and Williams when they were both supposed to fight eachother. That was years ago. Fight triple G or your a ducker.

Typical fanboy response. Now I wait for someone to come in here saying Sergio ducks pirog.
