Yes. And he probably won't get in, even 5 years from now. I absolutely love the guy, but his middleweight reign was too short.

Martinez should have retired after Murray. It was clear he had had gotten old in that fight. Cotto beat an old man with a bum knee. Caught him at the right time. It's as simple as that really.
Yes, he was on the last ballot (Class of 2020) - where Hopkins, Marquez and Mosley got voted in. He has of course now lost his place on the list (at least for the next 3 years) - and I'm not even sure, there will be a spot for him in the future.
