It is a more dangerous fight, clearly. Manny would be moving to middleweight for the undisputed middleweight champion. Another history making fight. Insane compared to a fight with Mayweather in my opinion.

 

Martinez is proving a bit disappointing after his impressive wins over Williams and Pavlik, niether of which have been impressive after their losses to Martinez. His sole interest in fighting the two big names in a lower weight division makes sense for the great payday, but his lack of interest in fighting good paydays in the Middle or Super Middle surprise me, he is not getting any younger. I think both Floyd and Pac would defeat him a Jr Mid, but the gamble would be worth it for him.

 

I understand Sergios frustrations, he's just trying to get paid but he needs to get the **** on with those bully tactics. He knows what a lot of people know and that is that Pac is a hype job when it comes to beating legitimate bigger fighters. That dont excuse him but shows him to be weak because he is a lion that prefers to eat rabbitts rather than buffalos and wildebeast.( real lion food). Pac has the skill to beat him, he is just too small. **** Sergio!!!

Well you get my point - It seems like insanity is the only palusible explanation for the biggest fight in the sport taking two years just to get to the impasse we're at today...

I like Martinez a lot,but this just comes off as desperate and over the top. He isn't on their level right now, and he needs to pay his dues to get there like everybody else. Sure, some people have gotten shots at Pac that didn't deserve it (Diaz/Clottey/ Margarito off the top of my head), but A: they sucked and B: they weren't middleweights.
