    Well let's wait and see if this was a genuine call-out or free promotion on Jr's side. I remember him saying the same thing about a year ago only to go to his buddy Jose Sulaiman and arrange to strip Martnez and get the Zbik fight for the full title.

    I'm sorry, but Chavez Jr. has yet to earn my full respect, because so far he's living off his name and nationality which happens to be Chavez and Mexican - and there you go, he gets a world title fight when there's a WBC world champion that is not injured.

    JC jr is being smart. Sergio is an overhyped soft touch as a champ, if jc wins he instantly goes to superstar status. lol at posters saying nobody wants to fight Sergio. Every mw and smw in the world wants him. Martinez is holding out for lightweights and welterweights.

    Let this fight happen!

    If Jr gets past Zbik, he'll get a title. They are the same size and at the same division, let there be a unification.

    This is a lot better than Martinez calling out fighters at the lower weight class.

    I reckon this will be more competitive than people think. JCC jr is a very good fighter with impressive victories over decent fighters like Vanda and Duddy. I expect Martinez to win but it won't be the walkover that a lot might expect it to be.

    If you haven't notice, Sergio laid the blueprint for the career-path that Chavez has been taking. Fight bums all your life and step up when you're ready to retire. except that Jr. is stepping up at a much earlier age :good
