thats what probably will happen, cotto will become 4 time beltholder, after that they will probably rematch him with pac/margarito

he could be fighting better fighters. he either wants small guys or guys he knows he can beat. he should be fighting golovkin, or someone like that

Martinez should honestly start aiming at either unifying titles or taking shots at the SMWs... Pacquiao and Mayweather both have no interest in fighting him(justifiably, MW might be a bridge too far for either). Cotto might be an okay fight as far as getting rec and paper, but i doubt arum would sacrifice him to an off brand fighter like Martinez.

    Time to aim higher, sergio...

More than likely Jr won't fight Martinez although I hope it does happen. At the end of the day the business aspect of boxing is still the driving force for most fights.

Since Martinez is not someone generating huge numbers, Top Rank will most likely pit Jr against someone with a bigger name, more loyal following and someone in their own stable of fighters. ie COTTO.

I honestly feel Jr wants the fight with Martinez....which I respect. I know Chavez would probably lose but I think he increases his stock in the process.

I honestly think Jr could end up beating Cotto. Not now, but after more time with Roach I think the changes will begin to set in more natrually....he'll be able to get the most out of his frame and physical attributes which could translate into an upset over Miguel, the smaller fighter.

Sergio needs to stay busy. With his age and being at the twilight of his career, he needs to stay sharp and focuced. So maybe a Vanes fight is on the horizon, which in my opinion would be more competitive than a Chavez Jr vs Martinez scrap.

Pretty sure Golovkin can't fight in the US because of his Universum situation.

Which beltholders in the division would even want to unify with him? Pirog's the only one, and Martinez already won that belt once before anyway. Geale might as well, but there's probably more money for him if he just waits for a Mundine rematch. Sturm will have nothing to do with Martinez and Chavez will be protected as well.

Everyone knows the fight to make for Martinez is Dimitri Pirog. What is he waiting for?

This is a disgrace; look at JCC Jr big head and 180lb body. He's a bully that needs to get taught a lesson!

How is he a bully yo? He's playing by the rules, and making weight fair, and square!

Martinez weighed in at 176 pounds himself, at the 30-day weigh-in for Martinez/Williams II, ya know! :D

Martinez is the one acting like a bully - trying to talk **** about Chavez Jr., and **** on what he's done. . . Threaten him. . . And trying to call him out when he wasn't ready yet. .

CHAVEZ is the one who will teach a bully a lesson come Sep. 15TH :bbb:bbb:bbb

NOTE: P-Willy only weighed in at like 163. . . That means, 30 days out from the fight, after 1.5 MONTHS OF TRAINING, Sergio was still 16 pounds over the weight limit, or 18 pounds over their catchweight limit.
