I know what you mean with this testing issue, it's only becoming an issue because fighters are refusing the commission (or as another poster said) HBO should do something.

I don't know if it is a deal breaker, but why suggest something like extra testing then back down? :huh

I didn't say you did, I used the word "implied" would you like me to past the definition of the word here for you? :hey

Look I'm f@cking with you, I didnt know why you put that to me ( I agree with what you say anyway) so that is why I put what I put, I thought you were trying to say something which you clearly were not?

no doubt . HBO does provide and pay decent contracts for their house fighters and since they are both house fighters , yes they should say "if you guys cant come to an agreement because of something else, we have to live with it, but if you are holding up a fight we could potentially air because of a rule that is otherwise a "personal" request than we can terminate your contract. or basically not air anything else thats less than what that match up would be in terms of interest

No fight can get on HBO without their consent and I believe they put up good money.......I agree with what you are saying...I think lol.....my whole thing is look at how Barry Bonds is treated in the USA and they don't have any solid concrete evidence that he cheated (although he probably did). Yet people ridicule him at every opportunity, why make the same mistake twice....we have better testing available than what we are using, why are we not using it.

Make it mandatory for every fighter to take it and it becomes a non issue.

Because in reality its only the big big fights where this is becoming an issue and these dudes are getting the big big money so they should bend over backwards to make the fight happen and show they are clean imo

Chavez should accept the testing. There is no reason not too and it would be more than double Chavez has ever made.

Nobody has a right to ****ing anything, and I don't really give a **** about hypotheticals pertaining to stupid ass ABC titles. This sack of **** is a proven drugs cheat who, for some odd reason, wasn't even tested his last time out. It makes perfect sense for Sergio to request a testing protocol that assures he's actually tested and allows for a much better chance of catching him if he is still cheating.

Chavez afraid of needles too? Or maybe having his blood taken weakens him too. Seems to be a trend of wild card fighters not wanting any part of OSDT. Hmmm wonder why that is?? Sounds suspicious ,because if you have nothing to hide you wouldnt care what kind of testing you had to undergo as long as your check showed up.

He was willing to make concessions about venue, money, ring size, and gloves. This is the one thing he (rightly IMO) doesn't want to give ground on given the history of Chavez, the Texas Commission, and the WBC.

EXACTLY who the f.uck cares who is paying for it? Who pays for it in Cycling? Just get it done....fans should want fair and clean boxers and that means better testing period.

Let the sanctioning bodies/commisions/networks worry about that, its not like boxing is a poor sport.

Hell take some of the PPV money to pay for it.
