Yeah I saw it, but I don't think Martinez qualifies for the HUGE fight label. He's probably more likely referring to Floyd or Cotto if they want to meet at a catchweight. No way does Ward call out Sergio after the Super Six when the far more lucrative Bute fight will be available.

 

Considering how strong he has looked in his last few fights, this is not a good move.

You may be on to something here. DiBella is on record as saying he has no interest in a Pirog match-up. Styles make fights, so there's probably more to that than just the "unknown" factor. It could be because they know Pirog is a huge risk. Golovkin is looking pretty dangerous as well.

Jermain Taylor will be returning to the ring within the next 6 to 8 months assuming he checks out health wise. If he is training properly and getting himself in the right shape he could make 160, he won't fight at 160 if it's just left to "I'm coming back", but I think if he has the right trainer, and can get himself in shape, he could beat Martinez at 160. Of course I'm biased, but in terms of "fantasy" fights, I think it would be a money maker, and I think he could beat Martinez, not going to happen, but I think it would be fun to see. JMO
