Sergio Martinez is a class act.

Good for Sergio. Personally, I really don't care. You're the one who said that trash talkers are dickheads. I think it's messed up that you called Sergio a dickhead like that. No class.:-(

Martinez is one of my favourite fighters today. One of the rare guys today who can box and will bang with you if necessary (Williams), seems to have a pretty good chin.. He has balls and will fight pretty much anybody.

In light of the robbery against Cintron and the close loss against Williams, I'm rooting for him to take Pavliks title.

 

I like Martinez and I want him to win but I think he's getting KO'd by Pavlik.

I think it would be tragic if Martinez lost this fight, even more so if he got robbed. I think Martinez will win, I wouldn't disregard the possibility of him getting shafted again. People will look at his record an see a draw and two losses after he steps up in comp, they won't be getting the full story. I had him winning against Williams, and considering he took the fight on 2 weeks notice, and it was his first fight at MW, that is quite an accomplishment. I also had Cintron only taking 2 rounds from him, and in reality, Martinez knocked him the **** out with one punch.

 

Why's that?

 

In an interview on the front page Williams claims Martinez had an advantage because he was already training to fight Paul when he got the call. Reality according to Paul Williams anyhow....

Cuz Kelly has one hell of a KO record perhaps?

 

But Williams had already been training for weeks, Martinez went from nothing to having the biggest fight of his career in two weeks like that.

 

Like I said. Reality in the eyes of Paul Williams.

How long did Martinez know he was fighting Williams before Williams knew he was fighting Martinez? Couldn't have been long.

 

I agree he is one of my favorite active fighters if not my favorite. I think he is very underrated and im picking him to beat Pavlik.
Speaks alot about his natural talent, i didnt know he didnt start until he was 20. Also never realized that he was the one Margarito kod on the Barrera/Morales I undercard, I was at that fight and had known Margarito as a hot prospect but didnt realize that this was the guy he kod that night until this article.

 

Sergio, should be unbeating. he lost to margarito that don't count..he beat one of my favs williams..change his record..Martinez should be unbeating.
