Lucky punch? ...Look how many times he lands his left lead in that round alone. He was looking for it.

 

At 0:18 he gets hit with the same punch. The difference is he does not did not step in to it.

PWill got to fix his mechanics. He often drops his head to the side when he attacks or feints. This does 2 things, it detaches your head from the rest of your body exposing your chin and lowers your head, removing the advantage of height. Making your opponent punch up is one of the best way to rob him of punch power.

What SM did and the mechanics of PWill made it a perfect storm.

WTf was Williams doing? He was throwing a left hook yet kept his right hand at waist level? That is a recipe for disaster!

Someone needs to teach him fundamentals simply because he likes to trade. Being a 6'1" is actually a disadvantage in his style of fighting because his punches travel such long distance that his enemies will land first before he can land his own. A simple chin tuck and a high right hand guard could have prevented the ko.
