I'm a fan of Martinez, if you look at his record, his ko % is just over 50%, with many of them recently since his move upto mw. generally moving up in weight, you gain more power and lose some speed, but obviously Martinez has kept his speed, and power has increased.

why is it when pacquiao moves up and knocks out opponents, some say he is on peds. Martinez does the same but no mention. ESB being biased at pacquiao? Hmmmm

If Floyd AZZks Sexy Sergio to OSDT for a potential fight, Sexy Sergio wouldn't take 3 damn years to give an answer.

Pacquiao hasnt knocked **** out in a while due to his leg cramps. He needs to find someone to take care of that "problem".

Martinez moved up 2 divisions in his entire career, from 147, to 154, to 160, as his body naturally filled out

    There's no comparison really

Also most people supported the PEDS claim due to Pacs reluctance to take the test

Pacqiao went from 105 to 144. Martinez from 145 to 158.
If you look at Martinez in his earlier fights you see he int putting that KO power behind his shots. Now he loads up and looks to hurt his opponents.

He was matched fairly tough early in his career for a rookie that's probably why he had so few knockouts.

He sits down on his punches more now than he did early in his career. He's also punching more correctly with his straight-left and his right-hook, so he's doing more damage.

If he was suddenly ripping through his opponents, then maybe, but most of his knock-outs come from an accumulation of blows.

Pacquiaos has always been an offensive fighter at heart, so him being on the front foot and forcing a ko is natural. you wouldn't say the same for martinez until recently.....?

Also he was 34/35 years old when he did start ko world class opponents..... whom do you know that's moved up in weight in their mid 30s and starts knocking out world class opponents? not including heavyweights.

jmm has but he has always been seen as one of the future greats of the sport from an early age....

I think Martinez's willingness to face Floyd at 150, with an 80-20 split tells you that he isnt afraid to get tested. Mayweather has said that anyone who fights him now has to go through the testing, why would a fight with Martinez be any different. Ortiz and Mosley were both tested and Cotto is going to be tested.

Martinez is a strange story he went under the radar for so long and fought obscure competition

then suddenly comes outta no where and starts stopping world class guys was it an adjustment in his training did he switch trainers like what is his explanation

    he's fighting cans.

How is Macklin a world class guy. He's a regional class guy fighting one of the best fighters in the world.

  15. I would not be so sure. The dude is 36 and lookin better than he did at 26. You just never know who is trying to climb outta poverty by ANY means necessary. To some... Takin PEDs to make millions is an easy proposition.

When you grow up chasing dogs for burger meat... You just might say show me the PEDs.
