Unlike you I don't believe that as soon as a fighter loses a fight, he becomes washed up.

 

younger fighters can come back from losses and get better sometimes but older ones usually just get worse after getting their ass handed to them. Plus, Pac isn't exactly someone you want to fight after a devastating loss or on the tail end of your career.

 

Martinez said he would KO pac and wouldn't fight him because he knows Pac isn't going to fight him and if he did Pac would be on a stretcher. Mayweather is the superior boxer to Pacquiao he can beat any style.

 

Sounds like Sergio is giving his honest opinion to me. He understands styles make fights. And he chose the fighter to win, whose STYLE he feels is superior, in this particular matchup. There's not much more that can be read into this (as some on here are attempting to do). He's apparently just giving his opinion as a fight fan.
