I agree with Martinez 100%.

Mayweather beats Pacman because he has a much better defense & is a superior fighter in general.

I just hope we get to find out for sure !

 

Pac fans making **** up again to suit their warped agenda.... this interview was an actual vid, straight from Martinez mouth... doesnt mean his prediction would be right of course but I agree with what he said, personally.

 

Does Mayweather hit harder than margarito weighing at 165? Nope. Is Floyd's chin a lot sturdier than Margarito's chin? Nope. Is Floyd's body a lot stronger than margarito? Nope.

Even though that Margarito is slow, he was able to lang Punches at pacquiao and Pacquiao took it well. There's nothing Floyd can offer to pac that he can't handle. Is Floyd as fast or faster than Pac? Maybe but that doesn't really matter because of Pacquiao's relentless attacks from every angle and Pac's ability to absorb punches.

Pac vs Mayweather just lost it's luster because of Floyd's inability to show any chances of him beating Pac.

Sorry *****s. I know the truth hurts. You can say peds this and peds that but all in all that issue doesn't mean **** anymore. Pac is in a different level of greatness now compared to that great slick african american that ducked Pacquiao.

 

Looking to hype the guy he's more likely to face I'd guess, it looks like thats now Floyd rather than Manny.

 

He can make him miss and outbox him. Although being able to deter an opponent from attacking you and making them wary of your power is an advantage...it's not always the deciding factor in a bout.

 

Pac = underrated because someone picked Floyd Mayweather of all people to beat him ?

imo, only floyd jr and sr. know their chances, if jr. didn't fight pac before pac retires, that means jr. cannot beat pac.

 

How often does Pac miss his target? Besides, Mayweather hasn't been that mobile since his comeback. Hey may have dazzled his fans about his so called ring generalship but the fact that his comeback fights was against Marquez who is a natural 130lb fighter and old man mosley who is ****ing 39 years old when they fought. Floyd won't be able to do those razzle dazzle to Pac who still showed speed and power. Sure we can argue that Margarito is slow and was there to get hit but the fact that Margarito landed those big punches on pac and Pac was able to absorb those punches shows that Floyd will be insignificant against Pac.

 

Not necessarily...it may just mean that he is scared to lose to Pacquiao, or he's scared of losing his '0'...not that he can't beat Pacquiao.

 

Pacquiao is at his peak right now. He is unbeatable. Even against a counterpuncher with no power african american slick boxer like Floyd.

 

Lack of confidence is a huge factor when somebody fights. This is all mind games for the mayweather too but their **** is backfiring at them.

 

Well you can just flip that argument the other way and say how often does Mayweather get hit compared to Pacquiao? (Pacquiao will probably land on Mayweather more than anyone else in my opinion, ignoring Compubox and the amount Castillo supposedly landed on Mayweather...I'm talking clean shots).

Well seen as his opponents have "only" been Marquez and Mosley (who is '****ing 39 years old') has he really had to use his legs? He said he was going to stand with Mosley (no-one believed him), did he? Just because Roach says he has lost his legs, doesn't mean it is true...I guess we will have to wait and see in his next bout.

Arum still believes he is a worthy opponent though (He clearly isn't at this stage for Pacquiao).

Floyd is a much sharper, crisper puncher compared to Margarito...there is very little comparison. I'd expect a sharp lead right hand off of Mayweather when an opponent is jumping in to cause more damage than an arm punch off of Margarito. The only shots that troubled Pacquiao were the body shots on the ropes...
