What?! were did the whole 140 saga come from? The man weighed 148 on fight night, where he was visibly slower, so he FOUND his limit. You know its called weight ranges in boxing :patsch Its the same reason people arent calling out Martinez in higher divisions, coz he sez he's to small

Pac can only come up in weight so much , is that hard to understand? And to ask martinez to come below 154 would also put him in a disadvantage :good

Because of the weight range it wont happen. that is all

“When Manny’s eating the day of the weigh-in and gets to eat twice before the weigh-in, he’s happy, and that’s when he performs at his best, when he’s smiling and in a good mood. He’s not in an angry mood because he’s starving himself.” -Bob Arum referring to Manny fighting at 147 lbs.

"It's 147 (pounds). We found that, when Manny can eat, he's comfortable and doesn't have to worry about making weight. We would have to fight at 147, or else, those fights won't happen. I'm not going to let Manny fight below welterweight,” -Freddie Roach referring to Manny fighting JMM

So again, he "can't"/"won't" go below 147 but "can't"/"won't" go above 150...still a cool story bro.

Rigggghhhhhttttt, which is kinda the point, God forbid him go up to 154 or down to 140 for "Big Fights", instead just weight drain or blow up any reasonable challenge, so that he doesn't have to push himself. Again cool story bro.

Yeah, I'd wave and bow out of this conversation too if I were you, as you obviously "don't know **** about boxing". You STILL haven't addressed the point that the man "can't" go below 147, but "can't" go above 150, which is basically saying that he is willing to fight but he'll only fight in this range...unless of course this is his opponents comfortable range, such as with Cotto, at which point he'll take him down to 145, or if 143-145 would be better as the case for JMM/Bradley/Khan he'll bring them up to 147.

The only reason they aren't calling out Martinez in higher weight classes is because Martinez is not someone who can bring them alot of cash like a Pac or Mayweather will! Pac and Mayweather are the cash cows of boxing right now and everyone around their weight class (either two up or two down) want to fight them. Not becuase they are fighting the best, (dont get me wrong Pac and May are the best) but what they are really after is the MONEY!!! If Martinez was like Pac/Mayweather (in terms of popularity and money) you would have the guys at 168lbs or even 175lbs calling him out, guys in the 154lbs division willing to move up or even guys in 147lbs! It has been done many times before in the past. Every boxer is out for the MONEY and the only way you can get it is by fighting the one who brings in the most money. That is why you had Darchyian calling out pac, too :nut, requesting Pac move down two divisions so they can meet :rofl Why do you think everyone wanted to fight ODLH, JCC, and Tyson in the past? Now that the De La Hoya's, Chavez's and Tyson's are gone, we have the PacMan and Money Mayweather. When they retire, other cash cows or cash cow will showup and we will see this again.
