GGG or his promoter have no contract with HBO so a GGG vs Quillin is possible. The thing is though, that HBO is helping hype GGG and giving him dates, wether they want to turn their back on that remains to be seen and I think Quillin knows this that is why he acting like he really wants to fight him.

It's Dibella that won't allow the fight. Martinez will be keen for it most likely.

That would be great if Golovkin opened a 3-1 favorite.

Oh I know Golovkin would open as the favorite as money will come pouring into him if the odds were at even money.

Fans dont know **** about boxing and the oddmakers know it.

Many factors beside who the oddsmakers think will win make the odds.

My statement was purely on the perspective of the odds I feel Golovkin has to win. I was'nt coming at it from an actual betting perspective.
I'm not a betting man, but occasionally I will put money down when I feel the odds are way out of whack as the odds imo would be if Golovkin (really unproven againt A level) were to be made a 3-1 favorite.

A fast fading Azumah Nelson opening up an insane 3-1 against a solid boxing mover like Chicanito Hernandez made me place money on Hernandez.

Tyson opening up 13-1 or something of that sort against Holyfield???:nut

Oddsmakers are not always in the know. They rely heavily on who they believe the public will place bets on. Thus why Tyson was 13-1 vs Holyfield.

Serigo has looked his age at times in recent fights. I hope he has enough left to put in a good performance against GGG.

Thats right, maravilla dont **** around. Golovkin better stay in his lane or get run off the road by the true middleweight champ.

It's laughable to suggest Sergio would duck anyone.

    Martinez is a G.

Golovkin beats any version of Martinez. The sooner people realise how good this kid is the better.

Golovkin would have beaten a prime Martinez? No

A prime Martinez is athletic and quick. Golovkin has impeccable judgement of range, Tszyu like balance and great punch variety allied with deadly accuracy. He would make Sergio fight his fight and hurt him.

well, holy was coming off an 8-round ko loss to bowe(where he looked as if he gassed) as well as his well-publicized heart condition so the odds were inflated. the bookies know that the public falls in love with ko power so if anything that would make ggg more of a favorite against Sergio.

imo, prime martinez would lose to this current version of ggg(he has shown the ability to ko late so stamina probably is not a problem as that and his punch resistance are his only question mark) so the faded Martinez has even less of a chance.

ggg Is anything but hype. guy beat lee, dirrell and kod bute in the amauters(a-level 168's).

the way that ggg has disposed of his opposition is what differs him between a hype like alvarez. ggg is wrecking dudes while canelito is not.

career 140 maidana recently ko'd josesito landing less punches and power punches(110/81;respectively) than the hype canelo(140/104,respectively).

it took canelito 20 percent more punches to get josesito out of there than it did maidana...a career jww.

factoids such as this is what helps distinguish hype from the real deal.

    ggg...hes the real deal.
