I am not trying to be trolling here but I think GGG is a carefully constructed hypejob. His face swells up real easy even in fights he wins, so I could see Martinez swelling his eyes shut. I don't see who GGG has beaten to even be thinking he could beat martinez. Let him beat chavez and I'll think about it

good on Sergio if he fights GGG next, GGG is the best in the world but at least Martinez will prove he will fight anyone

Martinez has nothing left to prove, he's a great champ, but his days are numbered. I woulda loved to see a 2010/11 Maravilla fight Golovkin, but now I just see Martinez getting hurt bad. Guy should think about hangin' 'em up now, possibly a last send-off money fight first, but I don't think he even needs that.

    okay.

    how about 900k.

is that "near" enough for you?

seriously, nobody wants chavez/Sergio 2 and everyone will want Sergio/ggg after golovkin kos his next opponent in oct/nov on free showtime.

I agree he does swell easy. Shut eyes is just as bad as cut eyes. Martinez with indeed closes GGG's eyes and win.

    - And that's a huge part of the equation here.

    Golovkin's style is extremely energy-efficient.

Maravilla's style is the exact opposite, relying on constant lateral movement. Given Sergio's age, that swings the meter waaaay over to Golovkin's side.

Ouma and Proksa are both tricky southpaws so I guess that answers your question on some level.
