Sergio Martinez Ready To Fight Paul Williams on October 2

  1. If Paul didn't look so bad against Cintron I'd pick him to win again, but now it feels like a toss-up to me.

i think that martinez will be a fairly big favourite for this fight.

since they fought, martinez went on to outclass the middleweight champ of the world. and williams went on to share a farcical performance vs cintron, where he didnt look too impressive.

Martinez is willing to go to 147 to fight Pac or May. Will he go to 147 to fight Williams? At 147? No contest. Paul.....

surely the fight will be at 160? i never read the original article so dunno anything about the negotiations. but he is 160 champ, that is shee the first fight ws, so it makes sense.

and as for 147 vs pac and floyd, i think any boxer from 130 to 160 would go to 147 to fight pac or floyd.

Pdub has NO business at 160. I don't care what the ring rankings say. His style is just not made for it.

he says he can fight anywhere between 147 and 160.

people said martinez had no business at 160 and he proved them wrong. plus williams already has a victory over martinez at 160.

i see no reason for this fight not too happen at this weight, but as i said, i would expect martinez to be a pre-match favourite.

Pdub was calling out LMW in Hopkins and Calzaghe FFS. I don't care what he says/said. Why do you think Goosen is moving him back to 147?

There is some truth to what Boo has been saying about Pavlik in the Martinez fight. MW may be weak at the moment, but there are some people coming up and I don't think Sergio can hang on against the top guys.

I gave you links to 3 examples of the sort of thing I said about Williams/Martinez. Now, ****-for-brains, prove yourself, or apologize and shut the **** up.

i dont think he is moving to 147.

no pavlik was a huge favourite for that fight, and also a worthy champion by kayoing undefeated prime taylor. he just lost to a better man who many said had no business at 160.

the fact is martinez is the man at 160 today, williams has a controversial victory over him at that weight. that is where the rematch should happen.
