Sergio Martinez Rips Pacquiao: "He Fights No-Hopers"

    Sergio Martinez has taken a swing at Manny Pacquiao over his selection of opponents. Martinez would like to face Pacquiao at some point. He doesn't expect the fight to ever happen, because of their difference in height and weight. Instead, Martinez is focusing his energy on getting fights against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Miguel Cotto.

    "While he continues to fight with opponents who have no chance of winning, and I continue to fight against the best - one day I will [become the best pound for pound fighter]. Because I know that I have to face reality that it's almost impossible [to fight him] given the height and weight. It makes more sense to go after fights with Miguel Cotto or Floyd Mayweather Jr. Against either of them, I'd love to show that I'm at an amazing point in my career," said Martinez.

    He's fishing for a payday.... its a joke of a fight.

    Martinez walks around over 175lbs , and cuts down a lot to make 160... and he wants to fight a guy who has moved up from 130lbs just in last few years? who fights at welterweight but comes into the ring around 150, much lighter than natural welters.

    This guy is really a piece of work. He just came on the scene really 2 years ago. His 44-2 record is very deceptive. I'd like B-Hop to challenge him or Manny or Money take him a complete 12 rounds.

    I read quite a few post saying what a beast he was, and now he's a bum? Seemed livelier than mosley in his last two fights, I like his approach by choosing quality opposition, there be no denying his no 1
