who knows how Chavez would do at 168 maybe not having to lose all the weigth would improve his skills and power

He will bring more power to the fight but his speed will still be lacking..

I agree. Maybe that's what was wrong.

He should but he does not need to, the fight will sell out in Oakland, the Bay Area Mexicans will come out in droves.

On top of that Chavez is calling him out, and he is the Title Holder at 168.

Are you people nuts lol. Whay a **** fight. Without a massive size advantage Jr is a club fighter at best. Id pick any of the top 10 168lbers to beat him.

Proof that marketability trumps actual skills

Respect to him for challenging the best at 168, but I think he needs to have a few fights before he tries to fight Ward.

HE NEEDS TO GO TO REHAB!!! No way he said this without smoking one, if he really wants to fight Ward i want that what he is smoking:hat
I really can not see him winning one second in that fight...

 NO he will lose his main advantage his size Ward is alot bigger than his previous opponents and you dont think he has technique to fight someone great as Ward, he should stay at 160 as long as he can but props to him if he fights Ward at least he will not lose via KO but will be embarrassed thats for sure!

Can someone please tell me what Jr thinks he's done to deserve a shot at Ward at 168?

He'll lose every minute of every round... He should take a fight or two at 168 before he takes on Ward, give him a few wins and not back to back fights losing 23 rounds...

I can't think of any other fight out there for Ward that would make more money than fighting Jr., and it's an incredibly easy win for Ward. I don't see any reason he wouldn't take this fight.
