I'm sure Jr would be up for it, the guy's definitely got balls. Unfortunately, there's no way Jr's handlers ever let him get in the same ring as Martinez (at least this side of 40), as their gravy train would get hideously derailed very early. Zbik was landing at ~50% on Jr. If Martinez is landing at that volume, there's no way you're getting out of the early rounds.

I agree a rubber match with P-Dub would be great. As would a fight with Pirog or Golovkin. These 3 are the only worthy fights for Sergio but since he's fought nothing but top level opposition back to back to back he deserves an easier fight for a huge payday vs Chavez and I can't be mad at him for taking that fight first and dealing with the legit threats after.

Right, that could never happen cause Cotto has looked invincible since the beating he got from Margarito:lol:

Hey mate, i used to and still do (to a point) agree with you but all of that has to change now that a retired boxer owns The Ring Magazine. Not saying Oscar and GBP are rigging **** but you have to be a lot more careful that the wool isn't pulled over the public's eyes when people (Oscar and GBP) have shitloads to gain by publicising, over rating and/or ranting/raving about their (GBP) fighters ahead of others.

Again not saying Oscar and GBP are comprimising **** but us (the fans) need to keep an eye on it.

Journalism looses all of it's priorities as soon as it is compromised....

As Kellerman said, during the Zbik vs. Chavez telecast, "promoters don't put cash cows in against punchers". I wouldn't be surprised if Chavez defended his belt against someone like Carlos Quintana, Corey Spinks or Yuri Foreman. He's going to fight at least 2 creampuffs before he fights Cotto or Martinez.

 Just found it kinda funny you mentioned 2 of 3 "former" Cotto opponents as creampuffs who HBO matched w/Miguel during his RUN as One of their top stars.

The middle division is a fcken shambles...honestly know one knows who the real champion is..the only guy to fight the mandatory and defeat the champion toget the belt is Daniel geale for the ibf trinket.

You must have missed the memo, it quite clear who the true middleweight champ is.

He goes by the name Sergio martinez

Chavez, Jr. can beat Cotto, but he has not chance against Martinez period!
