When you say crush, you mean that Floyd would play into Martinez hands like P Williams did and engage in there. The old washed up part time boxing Oscar was as old as Martinez must be now. The movement and speed that you talk about is compared with men such as Pavlik and P Williams, not in short spaces and with welterweights like Floyd. The southpaw stance works well with who can't deal with it and there are plenty but not certainly Floyd who fought the likes of Zab just to mention one. Floyd has many game plans and he would fight Martinez if that fight would sell as much as the Pacquiao fight would. Believe me that Ortiz is another warm-up and that Mayweather may even think of martinez if the same Argentine really gets people's attention by rematching with margo or Cotto and destroying them to pieces.:thumbsup

On the real if sergio wants the fight at 154 he needs to come down to 154 destroy someone like cotto look good and call mayweather out.

If mayweather fights him coming down to 154 he will not get the credit he deserves with people saying martinez was drained. Let Martinez comeback down to 154 fight a live opponent and make some noise. Until then martinez ain't worth the time or risk.

YEP, funny thing is he will retire again after his so called tune up, and after 1 1/2 yr or so he will come back to fight another boy for another tune up, retire after that then look for another tune up after 1 1/2 yr, and the cycle goes on..:good clever floyd or moron floydettes to believe.

I actually agree... Sergio needs to up his stock to position himself as a Floyd opponent. He is very big and presents a huge risk for someone that not many people know about.

I think that's a petty fair scenario, and it would be interesting to see if it happened.

I still doubt a fight would happen with either Mayweather or Pacquiao, but Martinez would have done everything possible to make the fight happen I think.

These are the fights I most want to see:

    1. Martinez vs Mayweather in Atlantic City.

    2. Kessler vs Ward in Copenhagen.

    3. Froch vs Bute in Nottingham.

    4. Helenius vs Fury in Atlantic City (not happening, but would be good!)

    5. Pac vs Mayweather (not that excited as I think Pac is truely too small for this).

    6. Any combination of Dirrell vs Bute vs Dawson.
