Mayweather doesn't fight to prove who's the best.

Maybe Mayweather will fight him, who knows. Pacquiao is more of a threat than Martinez that's for sure.

Paul Williams and Pavlik weren't that great.

I do agree, though Floyd is fully justified in ducking a bigger stronger prime or slightly past his prime champion in Sergio. Sergio should be looking to make a splash at MW or SMW.

Ah yes, forgot the weight issue:
    e. I don't care if Floyd can easily do 154 and Sergio is willing to go down to 154. You are such a noob if you can't see that weight is an issue here.

I'm a fan of Martinez. But, until he is reaches Oscar's stature in boxing, he does not have the clout to have someone of Floyd or Manny's stature move up to fight him. He has several options one division north of MW, though.

Pac white slave master kept Cotto from Floyd, and Margo was a cheating, non skilled, plodding, scumbag, who would have been embarassed if he ever fought Floyd.

And Floyd beat the man who nearly killed Margo, but I guess that is "cherry picking" as well to you ****ing idiots.

Cotto never ONCE pursued a fight with Floyd, and when asked if he wanted to fight Floyd, Cotto says "I leave that up to my promoter."

Arum NEVER wanted to put his puerto rican cash cow in with Floyd, and turned down Floyd's financial demands to make a fight happen. Why? Because Arum knew that Floyd would have killed Cotto.

Let's be real, Cotto is no ****ing killing machine. Pac only fought him because Arum wanted to sacrifice him to make Pac bigger, and Cotto was damaged goods after being beaten down with plaster, and struggling to beat Clottey (in a fight that he really lost).

You can follow that lying sack of **** Arum blindly if you want, but the idea that Cotto and Margo represent any sort of threat to Floyd is ****ing laughable. They were'nt any sort of threat to Pac either, but you're too much of a stupid ***** to see that.

And to the point of the thread, Floyd is a welterweight. Yes he can move up, but he still has biz at 147.

If that little juicing cocksucker Manny will put down the roids and take the test, we can get the big fight, and then Floyd can move up afterwards.

Until then I guess I have to listen to you insipid, cocksucking, bandwagoners continue to spew your bile. :deal

Sergio really should just focus on Barker and then wait for the S6 to finish and fight the winner or Dirrell, Kessler, or Bute at 164

Bottom line PBF weighed 152 against SSM, Pac weighed 149ish against Tony, they are either both big enough, or both not, simple as that. Personally I think either could fight him at 152-154, but choose not to, which is marginally gay. I say marginally, only because it's possible, but not expected or required.

Martinez is high risk low reward, for both fighters.

I assume this fight will happen in 2012 then, considering Floyd kept saying that he was only fighting Marquez because Marquez called him out and that's all anyone ever needed to do with him.

    :happy:happy:happy

    Looking forward to that.

    :patsch In the year 2000!!!!
Your logic fails so miserably not to mention the fact that Margarito got KTFO by Mosley before fighting Pacquiao.
