Sergio Martinez to Floyd : FIGHT ME!

Id be happy to see Sergio calling out names above his division. Sergio's like Yuri Gamboa calling out KOKI KAMEDA for a fight.

JMM wanted that fight and called PBF out, not the other way around...big difference.

 

Look how difficult it is to get floyd to fight pac, and he is favoured over him. Martinez has a much better chance of beating floyd and there is absolutely no way a calculate person like floyd will take that risk.

 

I was all for this fight at first and realized Floyd and Pac were too small, but thought the fight was still doable.
And then when they showed the fight night weights of Martinez/Dzinziurk and Sergio was over 170 pounds, I knew this fight was done.
I thought before that he was a small middleweight, but he's at a comfortable weight their now and it doesn't help that Floyd probably weighs around 148 pounds right now

What has he done to deserve one besides beating an overrated Williams, and surfing against the recovering Pavlik, he has done nothing but run his mouth, calling out smaller fighters and there's a contender near his weight class that Ko'ed him, who's name he wont even breathe.

 

Mate, that really isn't the case at all. Martinez's camp has made it very clear that they'd love a rematch with Margarito if he beats Cotto in the December rematch.

"We would be interested in that fight. We would want the winner, but (the Margarito loss) is like a thorn in the side for Sergio, and it would be a great fight if he's able to beat Cotto"... (Martinez's trainer at The Scene)

His recent run has been pretty impressive; he's "beaten" Cintron (if you didn't give that fight to Sergio have a good look at yourself), Williams, Pavlik and Dzinziruk in impressive fashion since 2009. What more could you ask of the guy?

He's not alone in calling out smaller fighters; in the case of calling out Pacquiao and Mayweather, which fighter around those weight classes hasn't called them out? They offer the largest paydays, so naturally, everyone wants a piece of the biggest pie. I don't blame them for turning Sergio down, but I don't blame Sergio for calling them out either.
