It's sad that after such a big win for him, he is doing this to himself.

 

He beat the **** out of that cruiserweight, Pavlik.

As for who would win, I would put my money on Ward.

 

What is more disturbing than the KO is when Steward said Williams was fighting the perfect fight until the KO. That's not what I saw!

 

Martinez by KO.

Ward is overrated, will get beaten by Froch if he gets past Johnson.

 

Didn't Pavlik want to fight Williams also? Despite there being a bigger size difference than Martinez-Williams?

Martinez is a great fighter, but he's also really overrated. People forget, Pavlik was winning their fight before he gassed out at the start of the 10th round. I'm picking Andy Lee to KO Martinez.

Andy Lee would lose to Macklin and Barker at domestic level.

 

I would not pick Lee over Martinez. Andy gets hit alot by fighters who are nowhere near as fast as Martinez.

Martinez gets way to much credit for beating Pavlik. When Pavlik went into the Betty Ford Center last month, that was his second time. The first time was when everyone thought he was in training for Martinez. KP got out weighing 180 pounds just 10 days before the fight, and continued to drink. That info is out there on a bunch of web sites. People ignore it by choice. Kinda like being stupid on purpose.

Ward/Martinez is a silly idea. Pavlik wanted Martinez to give him a rematch at 166 exactly like Kelly did for JT, but Martinez would not even consider it. The man only wants to fight welters and junior welters.

 

I could see the argument for Macklin, but Barker? You've completely discredited yourself...
