Martinez would have no problem knocking Ward out, even with Ward's personal referee and judges! Of course, such a fight would have to be in Ward's home town with his personal referee and judges, but Ward would still refused to allow Bute in his personal tournament. Bute knocks Ward out and so does Martinez.

Mosely (old welterweight) Angulo (one dimensional junior middle) Cotto (Shop worn welterweight) Pac (junior welter) PBf (welterweight) HBO forced him to fight Williams (welterweight) Those are the guys Martinez wants to fight. There is not one single middleweight on the list. Anyone who thinks Martinez will ever fight a world class supermiddleweight in his prime is a God Damned fool!
What the ****. Why should Bute be against him, when tournament rules clearly stated first of qualifiers would meet fourth Wars vs. Abraham it is. Inserting Bute in the tournament right now would be stupid. They should build Bute as a challenger, who will challenge the eventual winner of tournament in a huge match. Not just out of nowhere insert him in the middle of the tournament in Abrahams place.
How would they force Ward to fight Bute? Ward would never agree to such a fight. Bute should have been allowed to fight in tournament at the inception!
Yeah but he was still HBO fighter back then. Im sure they will find a way, to get Super six winner (Ward) to fight Bute. I believe that is the reason, why Showtime signed him.
