Segio Martinez and his camp have already agreed to terms, they're just waiting on Daniel Santo response... but sources out of Puerto Rico are saying he will accept the fight. It will be on the undercard of Angulo vs. Mayorga and Campbell vs. Funeka. This card looks really good. I gotta give HBO its props. Margarito/Mosley this month, this Mayorga/Angulo triple-header card, JMM/Diaz and John/Juarez in March.... and no PPV's scheduled until May!.... I can forgive them for Dawson/Tarver II anyway... thoughts and predictions on this fight?
HBO is forcing promoters to get their guys good fights. Next step is HBO foricing promoters to promote.
I have a feeling Santos will find a way out of this one. Either by "injury", pricing himself out, or by not making weight come fight night. It's a good match up though if it actually happens. I will go with Martinez by UD.
What a fight card if it goes through! I'll keep my fingers crossed, but this would be one of the better trios on one card I can remember.
i have a feeling my bank is gonna back Santos on this one if the odds reflect the poll Santos by Decision in a snoozer though. still, good card. I like this fight even though the styles don't mesh well.
