Emanuel Steward: How ya feeling? Ya looking good. Ya might want to try a body shot now and then. Ya boxing beautiful tonight. He's not a counter puncher (Vera). You do what you doing, and you don't have to worry about him timing you with nothing.

It's all in the foot work. Watch it. Vera isn't smart enough to do **** about it.

    Round 6

Lee jabs and springs backward on spidery legs, still maintaining good balance. Vera is bashing his way in with right hands at chest level and mostly falling short. Lee is caught with a couple of shots up against the ropes but circles his way back out to the middle of the ring quickly. NICE right hook by Lee and Vera is staggered, and his glove touches the canvas! No knockdown ruled. Vera floats out a high left jab, and Lee ducks to his left to counter with body shots. Vera stalks and Lee leans in to clinch after galloping slowly away a few paces. Lee is pushed up to the ropes again and seems to be losing some of his mobility now. Vera claps him with a couple of right hands. Lee lands a couple of counters between them.

Best round for Vera so far, but 60-53 Lee (should be 60-52 because of the missed KD call)

I know Vera won the first fight, i saw only the first 3 or 4 rounds, how did he end up KOing Lee? Was it a lucky on eoff punch or something?

    Round 7

Lee jabs and circles wide, moving left and now right. Vera keeps chasing, straight forward. All clubbing or lunging shots from Vera, except for his useless left flick-jab. Lee is able to pull straight back with his hands down out of the way of a Vera right hand. Lee lands a few hard counters as Vera barges inside, oblivious, and lands body punches. Lee lands a nice southpaw 1-2, just sort of tossed out without much power but very fast. Vera walks into a straight left. Another. Vera is loading up on big right hands and missing, and marching up to Lee to brush him with that soft and off-center left jab.

    10-9 Lee

    70-62 Lee
