    He didn't knock him down. Ref judged that Lee was out on his feet and stopped it. Thought it was bull****, personally.

    It was anything but that, mate. Vera was landing monstrous rights every time he threw them. Lee couldn't get of the way, and the referee stopped it.

    He just wore him down and was getting to him. Usual old stamina issues for Lee. Vera was landing unanswered punches. He didn't knock him out cold. Lee was standing up and actually not that hurt at the exact time of the stoppage (but was a sitting duck). Pretty controversial.

    Vera just basically did the same exact thing that Ortiz did. Get skooled, land one flurry, but the fight ends and alot of people think he wouldve done something afterwards. No, he wouldnt have just like Vera isnt. They go right back to getting owned

    Lee looks a lot better than usual and is winning a shutout, but he makes a lot of technical mistakes that will cost him against a better fighter. HBOs not pointing them out of course.

    Wheres Roy tonight anyways?

    Cheers for info on previous fight. Sounds like a bad stoppage. Lee certainly looks to be on a different level to Vera

    Vera got rocked again! Amazing stuff from Lee. Seems that he can fight brilliantly if he doesn't come in thinking 'I will KO this guy'.

    Lee moves and jabs. Vera is shooting that right hand across and landing it a bit. Lee is dancing to his left, drawing Vera across the full length of the ring and face-first onto the right jab. Vera is trying to work his way in with the let jab but it's as useless as ever. Left uppercut by Lee off a right hook. Straight left by Lee backing up. Nice combos by Lee, finishign with the straight left hand. Nice head movement and other upper body defense by Lee. Vera can't find a shot to really consistently place on Lee, missing badly with his wide jab and smothering himself trying to throw big rights.
