I’ve got you all in your emotions, again. I suggest you lace up a pair of boxing gloves for the first time in your life, rather then commanding your role as boxing’s version of Steve Janowski.

That certainly may have played a role too. Sadly Floyd never faced a "prime" elite talent. All of Hernandez, DLH, Mosley, Cotto, and Pac were at tail end of career. Canelo win was before he entered his prime.

Floyd was nonetheless very good. I dont think he'd be a betting underdog against any opponent in his career, however, he'd be even money against a younger DLH and Manny. Floyd barely got by both of those guys and I think younger versions beat Floyd, but no fighter is perfect.

Exactly, I've been saying this since it happened. It's not that Floyd couldn't beat many of them it was the fact it was a risk Floud was not prepared to take, he would have lost his 0 to somebody during that time, far safer sitting it out and let the rest of them all take damage and losses them come back and pick off the scraps...

    More comedy gold from you.

As predictable as the sun coming up in the morning.

Floyd only ever had 3 fights in his entire career at JMW.

Floyd was never having a field day against Martinez in 2011.

    Have a word with yourself.

A 5’10 southpaw with an equal reach, who had great hand speed and skills?

How many of those type of fighters did Floyd have a field day with??

How confident and offensive would Floyd have been against such an opponent?

Just another delusional fan boy post by you, with zero thought given.

Floyd would never have easily have beaten Martinez.

Ask yourself why he didn’t take those kinds of fights.

He was supposed to be going to give Winky a boxing lesson too.

Can we just ban No Neck? Blatant trolling for years now.

Steroid Floyd struggled with a 60 year Old Oscar. Sergio blasts him out.

I like Floyd over Martinez at 154. I also like Floyd over everyone mentioned except prime De La Hoya, who I feel beats him. Mosely & Winky I'd make even money against him.

As we all know, fighters unfortunately don't always fight the best of their eras in their primes. Just about every ATG can have his record torn down through opponent analysis regarding respective primes/timing of fights and things of this nature. Mayweather certainly appears to have taken advantage of certain timing situations though, true enough.

I almost always lean towards the superior boxer in hypotheticals, even when they are at a size disadvantage like the one between Floyd & Williams. Mayweather is one of the greatest pure boxers that has ever lived and that's why he beats almost everyone listed.

    Floyd was a genius.

He could certainly have beaten Sergio.

But I have no time for these fools who’ll just predict an easy win, whilst giving no actual thought to the matter.

The most important thing to consider, is always how they’d have matched up on the night stylistically.

    I don’t think he is a troll.

Just ignorant and uneducated on the sport.

This is PEAK Sergio. If getting down to 154 doesn't affect him, he's fast and skilled enough to get to Floyd IMO. Size dofference would've been immense.
