For Martinez WBC light middleweight championship ... the very title that Floyd was forced to vacated in the wake of him hold 2 championship in two different weight classes at the same time.

I recall Martinez saying in post fight interviews that he would like to fight Mayweather.

It's very possible ... considering whatever goes on with Mosley/Berto and or Pacquiao.

Floyd is the emeritus champion for the WBC light middleweight title ... which means he's the immediate mandatory challenger should he choose to fight at 154 again.

Floyd goes to hell if he eats that right hook. His D holds up I have him getting a close win

If he Fights Mosley I think he should fight cotto and cheato then go up and get Martinez but fighting 1-2 times a year he will fade by the end of this so I just say Mosley and Probally cotto Cheato and leave the sport on top

he'd probably come in at 150 like he did against Oscar. He wouldn't be worried about Martinez weighing more than him because Martinez doesn't walk down his opponents.

Martinez is too big. Bad idea to put floyd in there with him.

Sergio Martinez put in a very good performance against Paul Williams. PW's primary defensive weapon is his face, and performing well against him does not mean you are ready for a fight with Mayweather. I ****ing HATE PBF, AND his fans, but the truth doesn't change based on my feelings.

is it really that much of a difference...either way my point is he wouldn't come in at 154..there would be no need to..

martinez ud he fights at a great length away from his opponent, this would bother floyds pot shot style. not to mention the size difference.

It'd be a great win for the resume, to boxing fans, but Sergio Martinez is nobody to the general public.

There'd be no point to make this fight in Floyd's mind: The money wouldn't be there and it's not for legacy as he already had that belt.
