Both said they want the fight in Argentina, after lockdown
    :eeek:
I have my doubts it happens but both want it.
    I guess a 170 catchweight?

Who wins, if it happens this year?

What is it with all these ye olde pugilists wanting to do comebacks now it's literally impossible for a spell?

Last time I saw Marcos he was like a little butterball! I'll go for Sergio.

Martinez is better than Marcos if he's in his best shape.

The same Sergio Martinez that has both a surgically repaired ankle and knee has no business fighting anymore. He was completely helpless back in 2014 against Cotto.

I'm pulling for Martinez. Ironically, I am currently recovering from Microfracture surgery which is the same procedure he had done on his right knee. I hope for the best for him. He seems like he is still financially well off but just wants to fight for the love of the sport. As a 45 year old guy that still loves to spar, I can relate to that.

Let's make it an all Argentinian night: The ghosts of Carlos Monzon and Victor Galndez fight in the main event at a catchweight of 172.

This. Martinez' style relies on movement and without that, Marcos by UD on activity.

I have seen some pretty recent training footage of Sergio. He looks like he has his legs back. I don't think at 45 he is going to ever be a champ again, but he certainly has the skillset to beat some good fighters. He has definitely taken better care of himself than Marcos has.
