Nor was that a prime Martinez. He is done. Age and injuries have added up. I wouldn't be surprised to see him take one easy fight and retire.
noobs? are you 15? actually you are frustrated because you can´t even answer my comments with logic and facts, you need insults... so you lost the war even before beginning. you think that because you have 45.000 posts(living here) you can insult new people freely and you have more rights... i am here in order to debate about boxing friendly , not to argue with a guy with real problems. i see you
I said 'nobs' not 'noobs'. Fact is, you're an alias/alt. You're not new. In fact, I've encouraged a lot of new posters who offer something good to the community that've gone on to be loved. You are a troll looking to stir **** up. So I'm gonna' rip on you. You don't 'see me' I saw you from your very first post. You're a mess.
yeah, that chump benvenuti.never accomplished anything in his career. It's only now that Martinez has struggled with Murray anyone here is even giving him a chance.
apart of the quality of nino, the last fight of sergio will influence some people for sure. h2h sergio is a force
both men huge ,stronger and harder punchers than benvenuti. both men are probably drained lhws, chavez jr is naturally much bigger and stronger than benvenutti and he has a pretty good chin
Nino beat a better fighter than Martinez to win the middleweight title...and he sure as hell lost that title to a better fighter than Sergio as well.
Check P-Dub's rehydration levels. Long, but not that heavy. Pavlik was a big guy but Williams didn't hit harder than Nino (he hurt Sergio in first fight too) and Rodriguez>Kolle in terms of aesthetic brutality.
It's an honor for Sergio Martinez, a late started in boxing, peaking in his mid-thirties, to even be compared with Nino Benvenuti. Nino was arguably in the top two or three native Italian boxers of all-time, a gold medalist, and awarded the Val Barker trophy. In a match-up with Martinez, Nino probably earns a decision win, but Martinez has the power to change the game. Plus, Nino was inconsistent with his performances, beating Griffith, but losing to Kim. I also think Martinez has more of a drive to win, if that makes sense; he's got a champion's heart. With that said, Benvenuti likely edges a decision win.
