Sergio Martinez vs Nino Benvenuti

    Nino would have whipped Pavlik and Williams as well. Nothing at all special about those two. Of course, I'm talking "title on the line" Benventuti and not the unprepared sometimes uninspired non title Nino who dropped a few fights that he should have won.

    I'd go with Martinez, Benvenuti is the better technician, but Prime Martinez is faster, much better conditioned and clearly stronger

    What prime version? The one that got battered by Margarito? Or the one that lost rounds to Barker?

    I would go with Benvenuti (at his best) to win against Martinez by decision...

    I'd go with the Martinez anywhere from '03-'10 from what I've seen. I thought he'd missed his chance to make a splash before the Paul Williams fights, he made his impression with me against Richard Williams though

    But yea it's not like Benvenuti didn't put on worse performances than Martinez has, prime or not
