Nobody is overlooking this. DLH is undersized in this case, and he stands straight up and down. If you said BHOP would beat Martinez, I would agree. He has the stance, the size, and a style to beat Martinez. DLH... NOPE. But you know what BHop woudln't do? Go bearin in like a dumbass, doubling the jab with a straight up and down style, hands in front of his face, and get knocked the **** out. He would make Martinez come to him, counter him with right hands, and if he does press the fight, he would come in low, hit Martinez and tie him up, and be rough with him. But you know who isn't BHOP? De La Hoya. De La Hoya is not BHOP.
Size isnt everything espcially when you have the smarts to overcome the lack of size in which people have been constanlty trying to tell you... Oscar ability to control the range is going to be the undoing of Martinez. You're making Martinez out to be some wrecking machine in which he's clearly not...Martinez hasnt been in with a fighter with the mechanics of Oscar. Why are you constantly bringing up others when were strictly talking about Oscar and Martinez...No ****, Bhop and Oscar arent the same...They're good fighters in there own way.
You're just not getting it. He doesn't have the right style. Martinez has fought guys with great jabs before. ODLH has never seen anything like Martinez. And yes, ODLH also has great footwork, but he's a smaller fighter, and he fights straight up and down. Martinez eats straight up and down fighters for breakfast. ODLH has a very slim chance at staying outside and trying to outbox Martinez, but that's all tall order. I don't see how this is so hard for you to understand. And if you consider Martinez' last several fights, is he anything less than a wrecking machine?
It just looked like ya'll were engagin in some gay talk. That's all. You don't see me on here givin people internet hugs. I'll be talkin **** till the day I die.
Please name them??? atsch The Razor?? and who else exactly since you keep on bringing this up! Please name them for me. You also keep on saying that Oscar is smaller but they're actully close in size so what the hell are you talking about being the smaller fighter?? Based on what gives you this assumption??? From what I've seen, Oscar has a good mid range to outside game...He can hang with Martinez if the fight was fought at the outside range. atsch Thats why I'm giving Oscar a damn good chance in this bout...Martinez didnt look so good even though he KO'ed his opponents...I think he'll put a good fight against Oscar but fall short because of his flaws.
I already addressed too many points. I don't get paid for this. Are you going to pay me? The way I look at it, you already owe me money. Why does Martinez size come into play? Well, for one, ODLH won't be able to use his size and strength to his advantage like he did against Floyd. Additionaly, Martinez hits exponentially harder than Floyd. This means ODLH will 100% have to fight on the outside to win this fight. That's $50 you owe me. Ima find you.
