:rofl Tyson was 5'10. He couldn't knock SNV's elbow out. They're actually very good friends, Can. Here they are from the tribute rap concert for SNV late last year or early this year, I can't remember.

I'm not quite ready to anoint Sergio as highly as some of you are, despite his performance against Paul "The Punished" Williams...and Carter wasn't quite the glorified prelim boy some of you think he is either.

He wasn't clearly outboxed though, that's the thing. The fight was ****ing close and Carter won a lot of the exchanges, even if the aging Giardello was controlling pace with his crafty movement. It reminds me a bit of a 15 round version of a past prime Minter against Hamsho.tough to score and highly competitive. It's a shame Carter's career went the way it did, as he could have taken it as a good learning experience first title shot loss, worked on his 15 round pacing and improved.T'was not to be.

It's easy to be the old romantic after the Hurricane painted it as a shameful robbery, and make it out to be some sort of elegant masterpiece to compensate, but that is just as far from the truth as the film imo.

Carter didn't hold a win over Rodriguez. As I recall Luis Rodriguez held two decision victories over Rubin Carter. Carter did however put Luis on the floor in one of those bouts.
