Sergio martinez vs Vernon Forrest

bunema might of made martinez look like rjj, but i think martinez showed some skills enough to beat a fading forrest. depends how much forrest has in the gas tank. prime forrest destroys martinez, but this is an interesting fight. if martinez is successful, would love to see him with santos or the razor

 

I think so too. Martinez' style would trouble Vernon imo.

 

I rememeber he got iced in 1 a while back and was stopped by a light hitting and green Ouma.

Matthysse was a welter but Ill admit Karmazin was a very solid win. But at the same time Karmazin was comfortably ahead in that fight and has shown a suspect chin before.

 

Interesting, Forrest has indicated at every opportunity that the last thing he would do is fight someone like Martinez. Based on what I've heard Vernon say I'd be shocked if this fight happens.

 

Way too late for Vernon to be favored in this fight.

 

Maybe it was the opponent but i saw a lot of RJJ like talents from Martinez against Bunema. The foot speed, hand speed, reflexes, etc. You can't really fake it. It was eye opening.

But having said that, i still have no idea.
