Sergio Martinez wants WBC Diamond belt for Mayweather Fight

To each their own....Floyd has plenty of belts so he now doesn't care....Sergio doesn't...and world champiship belts mean a lot for fighters who havn't had any or many.

 

martinez does realise he has to pay for the belt doesn't he by sanctioning fee? i think it cost like $50,000.

 

Many boxers CARE about the belts brah.....It's about their legacy and how they will be remembered in the sport as champions. Floyd made it clear he cares about his paper and that's fine considering the garage full of titles, belts, straps and awards he has. So paying money for anther title or belt isn't important to him and I understand. Sergio just isn't in the place right now.

Why isn't Sergio the WBC World Champion?, was it just a cheap way of making Chavez JR Champion without having to beat Sexy?. WBC is a corrupt mess.
