Sergio Martinez will fight Zbik-Chavez Jr winner

    Middleweight king and one of the best fighters in the world today Sergio Martinez will return to the ring in early October, promoter Lou DiBella told Fightnews.com. Martinez has been penciled in to fight the winner of the Sebastian Zbik-Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. world title bout, which will take place on June 4th at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. DiBella is looking at three different venues to host the fight, depending on the fighter who wins the bout or against Marco Antonio Rubio. Last month, Rubio stopped hard-hitting middleweight David Lemieux in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in a title eliminator bout.

    I came to post this. I really can't imagine Chavez Jr. getting into the ring with him. Martinez would **** him up so, so bad.

    good for maravilla. get a title out of it. they also said zbik has a verbal agreement to face martinez if he beats chavez. martinez's promoter believes chavez will chicken out in facing his fighter.
