Sergio Martinez would beat the **** out of Margarito if they fought again.

It'd honestly be worse then the beating Kelly Pavlik took. Margarito has a poorer defense then Pavlik, poorer timing and not as strong a puncher.

10 years ago is 10 years ago. Martinez has improved massively since then, is stronger, bigger faster, and more skilled then he was then. Not by a small margin but by a large margin.

Margarito's only chance would be for Sergio to get tired from beating Margarito's face, and thats not gonna happen.

I see a mid to late rounds KO for Sergio if his fight ever happened. A literal massacre.

It would look a little like what Mosley did.

He looks damn impressive in his last three bouts, while Margarito looked ****, and was badly beaten against Mosley in his last fight.

And at 154, where Margarito's advantages of size and strength were not apparent, Martinez will take it rather easily.

Hard to say. Margarito is a lot smarter than Kelly to apply pressure and much deadlier than Williams. Other than speed, Mosley used huge physical force and serious punching power to brutally break Tony down and Williams threw like 1200 punches to answer to fire with fire. 10+ years of experience and fighting at 154, where Martinez looked the strongest and fastest ever, and I still think Maravilla could be in trouble. I do think Sergio has good power when he sits down on his punches, but Cotto and Cintron had better, and I'm not ready just yet to blame dirty wraps which never was proven for any previous fights. No. With the question mark out there till the return how much the Mosley loss and the lay-off took out of him, Margarito is still a very good and very dangerous fighter, quite underrated due to the circumstances. I'll wait with my prediction till his return, but I see Margarito brutalizing the opponent who's never been stopped before.

It depends on how good Margarito is now and we don't know yet.

But Martinez doesn't have the style to completely dominate Margarito. It would be a close fight with Margarito pressing and Martinez trying to box off the back foot. Margarito has the type of pressure which will give Martinez problems throughout his career, unlike Pavlik.
