Williams Was 32 when he fought Ishida would not call that over the hill in any way...Golovkin was 31 when he smashed Ishida.......2 Years previous Williams defeated Martinez First time and Gets TkO'd the second fight.....The First time Williams Fought Martinez it went to 12 Rounds...the second time less than 12 months later Martinez TKOd Him in 2 Rounds....He must have Crashed very Quickly to be the Shell of a Fighter when Ishida took him the distance Ishida had a Great Chin that's why Williams could not stop him.....not good enough for GGG though ........your theory about Shell Of a Fighter does not stack up at all.!!!!!

Williams was not TKO'd you obviously haven't even seen the match he was brutally KTFO a lot of people thought Martinez had killed him, it was a highlight reel KO if there ever was one. The year before he fought.
Martinez in a brutal fight of the year, some of the shots almost spun his head all the way around, Martinez won that fight in many people estimation including mine.

Then when he fought Lara, he was hit with a similar shot that Martinez KO'd him with about 200 times flush, Kellerman and RJJ were freaked and thought the ref should stop the fight because of the damage he was taking. He was shot to **** by the time he fought Ishida before the first Martinez fight he was one of the best fighters of the 2000's.

Do yourself a favor and watch prime Williams on Youtube, you may be impressed.

Followed Williams most of His career but was disappointed in the Ishida fight because at 32 I still thought he would destroy Him....must have been a very quick fall from Grace to be shot at 32 Years old may have had some problems I did not know about.!!!!!

You are aware that the KO Williams suffer at the hands of Maravilla was more Brutal than the one Ishida suffered.

You did not follow Williams, if you did you would know the first was considered the fight of the year by some, the second KO of the year, they were epic. Also Williams dominated Ishida from bell to bell it was virtually a shutout performance, that's the fight that got him a shot at Canelo, before he had his motorcycle accident causing the fight to be cancelled. And yes he was shot in that fight compared to what he was in his prime.

Try watching his fights against Walter Matthysse,Winky Wright and Antonio Margarito, then consider how a prime Williams would fare against GGG.
