Big fan. Late career bloomer, but plagued with injuries.. In that sense reminds me of Vitali.

That KO of Paul Williams tho! ATG punch! He wasn't an overly dominant champion IMO probably avoided GGG & Pirog, had harder fights than he should have had with the likes of Barker, Macklin, Richard Williams (didn't he drop him too??) Murray (he jobbed Murray too!!).. Bit too chinny but slick & an aesthetically beautiful boxer to watch (I often think of him when I screw my wife.. No homo? Yes homo! Lot's & lots of it in the closet homo) but unlike Lara value for money too! Martinez could lay it on you! Good resume, Pavlik, Williams, Cintron, Dzinziruk, Chavez... But Pavlik was probably in 'demonworld' when Martinez tore him up so that win is tainted a little!

Margarito abused him.. He also spent too long in Spain & Argentina fighting mediocrity. Still tho i would have loved to have seen him fight Floyd, Pirog, Pac, GGG @ 154/160...

Martinz just had bad luck with injuries, but he was really good while he was on top! Martinez refused to fight Golovkin................can't blame him...............
