call me crazy but this would show us alot about GGG. Mora is boring and all but if GGG can crack Mora and stop him it would show alot.
That is the style that people are saying would bother GGG. Not to mention it would be a fighter that would be easier for GGG to practice on.

I think this fight gets made.

do you watch boxing? or do you just post stupid things about boxing?
the fight has no merit. Mora is unranked, he doesnt deserve to carry the spit bucket for GGG

Id rather GGG take a tougher foe but this fight would guarantee US TV probably on ESPN or SHO

Mora guarantees American television interest?

The Contender was a long time ago now, any shine from that has worn pretty thin..

 Did you watch the Vera rematch ?
I had 116-112 for Mora and gave most of the close rounds to Vera. He barely landed a punch.

If someone was robbed against Mora it was Ishe Smith, Manfredo II and Elvin Ayala, not Vernon Forrest I.

By the way, I thought Mora beat Mosley too, scoring on clean punching, not punches landed on air, arms and elbows (as Vera did in the seconf fight as well).

By the way, in Vera II, his trainer said DURING the 12th that he needed a KO to win the fight.

GGG's handlers would never put him in an ugly fight like this, how ridiculous

Confidence bordering on (or even beyond) self-delusion is an integral part of most top boxer's personalities.

I'll leave the question of whether or not he deserves a bout with GGG to others but I don't think this respectful challenge is inappropriate.

moras losses to vera were very close and controversial....even the mosley fight was a bad call

i think it would make for a great fight...sergio has a great chin, and brings some bravado to the table....plus he's known

  11. Even though there is no reason to think Mora deserves the fight... GGG would be making a pretty good case for himself if he were to completely destroy or otherwise stop Mora. That being said, what about Vera?

Either way, Mora needs to stfu and stop calling people out.

    Stop it, just stop it.

    Mora lost fair and square.

Look, I'm certainly not one to reward blind ineffective aggression and hitting gloves when the person in the counter-punching role is actually doing his job and effectively countering. FFS, I had Chambers beating Adamek by a large margin with one arm.

    Mora wasn't countering effectively.

As much as Vera's aggression didn't net him a whole lot of clean connects, it did keep Mora stumbling backwards and unable to set his feet to throw back (let alone land) anything meaningful of his own.

Just because one guy is applying sloppy ineffective aggression, doesn't mean you automatically score it to the other guy when he's being an equally ineffective non-aggressor. Mora was getting bulldozed, and didn't really have the time or space he needed to light up Vera with counters the way someone actually operating at an elite skill level would be able to.

Maybe you should watch it again.

If you have the time and inclination, please go through on a RBR basis and highlight all of Mora's effective work (with timestamps).

Oh good, the one guy who could make a Golovkin fight boring.

    Terrible, useless fight.
