I feel little love for Sergio Mora on here.
But I think he's a legitimate fighter with a lot of raw talent.. he's got fast hands, a good chin and an awkward style to match all that.

He disappeared after winning The Contender, but reappeared now after his Forrest win, which was the best thus far in his career.

His skills/talents makes Paul Williams a great opponent. Phillips wouldn't be a bad one either... but I honestly don't know what Miguelo is talking about when saying Paul Williams doesnt make sense biz wise :D

A Paul Williams win would spark real interest, he would get more followers and be in a possition to chose between Pavlik and DLH(assuming DLH does not face Cotto/Pacquiao)

And the thread title is pretty insulting :D

Sergio Mora is neither, he's a champion now, he's a legitimate champion in the 154lbs division, and there's more to come if hes intelligent.

it does not make sense for Sergio to go down another weight class to face the thunderous hands of Paul Williams perhaps if Paul steps up perhaps it could help him in experience to later fight Pavlik because they have similar characteristics...not to mention P. Williams is not the brightest fighter, in where he does not use his length advantage and if he makes that mistake against Mora it would be a long disappointing night for Paul Williams:good

Paul is looking to step up, he's looking for opponents right now :good
Sergio Mora wins a decision, Paul Williams is very raw, and his adaptability is pretty disappointing for an elite fighter in a good division such as the WW div.

Sergio figures him out and looks good winning a clear decision.

The best thing for Mora to do right now is to stay busy.
A man with his talent staying busy is greatly improving his chances of "shocking the world" :good

Mora has stated clearly that he does not plan to stay at 154. He plans to move back up to 160. A year from now Pavlik and Abraham will most likely be at 168. Mora's best bet at 160 would be to fight some guys lke Duddy, Zuniga, Ornelas, Marquez, McKart, and maybe Andy Lee. If he could beat any two of those guys, he might make some noise after Pavlik and Abraham are gone from the division.

look I am probably the biggest Sergio Mora fan outside of his family what's his dogs names?
    1)Sausage
2)Manny-which he named after Peter Manfredo and is the daughter of Sausage
    3)Douglas
I know much about this dude and I want to see him dominate the boxing public and cash in as much as possible--so I had to title this the way that I did cause I was tired of people not giving him his just do even after convincingly defeating a man who beat Sugar SHane Mosely (another one of my favorite all-time fighters) twice!
